Cradley Heath Salvation Army Band & Songsters will join forces on Friday 4 December 2009 to give their annual carol concert at St James’s Wesleyan Reform Church, Highgate Street, Old Hill, Cradley Heath.

The concert begins at 7:30pm. Admission is £3.00 and tickets will be available on the door. Seasonal refreshments will be served during the interval.

The band will feature music by Salvationist composers such as Erik Leidzen (March: Christmas joy), Bruce Broughton (Chorale Prelude: The new-born babe) and Robert Redhead (Suite: The joy of Christmas), whilst the Songsters will be singing contemporary Christmas songs such as Glory to God in the highest, That little baby and Joyful and triumphant.

There will be plenty of opportunity for the audience to join in well-known Christmas carols such as O come, all ye faithful, Once, in royal David’s city, Ding dong! merrily on high and Hark! the herald angels sing.

We would be delighted to see you there!
